On our way home from Amish Country we made a stop in Harrisburg so I could get a picture of the State's Capitol Building. I visited the building a few years ago on a field trip but was unable to get a picture of it. The building itself is very nice with an enormous rotunda.
I would not recommend a visit to Harrisburg, it's not a very nice and clean city. A few blocks from the Capitol Complex is the ghetto.
State houses are a hobby of mine. I would like to visit all 50 Capitol Buildings eventually. My favorite so far is St. Paul, MN.
