The New Bathroom, Before and After

This is the area of the new bathroom. It was previously used for storage.

The new second bathroom is finally done and it turned out awesome. It's hard to believe the major change to that area of the basement.

Due to our sewage being higher than ground level, we needed an upflow toilet system. The shower and the sink water all drain into a pump connected to the toilet and then it pumps it all through 3/4" pvc pipe into the sewer. It is a very slick system. There is one downfall to it, when the power goes out, and it happens here often, we can't use this bathroom. Here are the before and after pics:
