Martin Brodeur Ties Patrick Roy

As a long time Penguins fan, I shouldn't be posting on an opposing team's player, but, I happen to like Martin Brodeur as a player. He did the unthinkable lastnight, tying Patrick Roy's record for career wins at 551. He missed about 4 months of the season due to a torn ligament in his elbow that required surgery. This record could've been broken and shattered already.

I have followed Martin ever since he came into the league and he was taken a few spots after Jaromir Jagr in the first round in 1990. I was fortunate enough to see Martin play 3 times.

Congrats, Martin and good luck on getting 552 on Tuesday!
