
Today's countdown was the best countdown ever. There were only 5 bad songs on the whole thing and 3 of those are awful. The other 2 I can tolerate. This week's countdown focused on 1985. This was when music was music. What I wouldn't do to have a top 40 like this again. My favorite song from the list goes to Band Aid! Here are the songs:

Interesting list. Rock was pretty much dead by then, I guess (except for Bryan Adams, Springsteen, and a few others). Most of these songs I don't even recognize. I think by this time I'd stopped listening to radio and was digging the indy scene. Weird to see 2 Wham! singles in the top 25.
Dude, what happened to the Steelers? What a heartbreaker. Ah well...
