The Pittsburgh Penguins will make the playoffs for the first time in 6 seasons. They clinched their spot lastnight with their win over the Capitals and the loss by the Islanders. The celebration doesn't begin just yet. They need to overtake the New Jersey Devils for first place and the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Pens have the chance to do some damage in the playoffs. They are the hottest team in the NHL and if they keep rolling, look out NHL.....
Update on the Crosby watch: Sidney recorded 2 points lastnight and now has 113. He has a 9 point lead on Joe Thorton, who was shut out lastnight.
