Mike Modano became the highest goal scoring American-born player on Saturday night. He now has 503 goals. His goal surpassed Joey Mullen's total of 502.
For any Stars fans out there, Joey Mullen reached 502 in 1,062 career games. It took Mike Modano 1,227 games to break it.

I've been such a slacker...I knew you would have posted something about Modano! It did take him more games, but he finally made it. Nathan got to go to the game where got his 500th goal and my hubby said Nathan went crazy and would tell anyone that would listen to him go on about Modano. I even took Nathan to build a bear this weekend and we made a puppy which we got the stars outfit for...and of course the name was Mike Modano!
