The Penguins have reached the pinnacle in their division. By winning lastnight, they finally were able to overtake the Devils and reach first place. Their stay there may be short lived since the Devils play tonight, but I can say they are a first place team for now.
This is the first time they are in first place this late in the season since the 8th grade picnic.
I will be a Flyers fan for the first time in my life tonight when they play the Devils. I will give my total support to my most hated team for 1 night. Go Flyers!!!!!!
UPDATE:
Sidney Crosby now is leading Joe Thorton by 12 points after Sid's 3 points lastnight.
